Healthy Living
From LctaWiki
There is growing interest in Wellness and Healthy Living initiatives. Many employers are now seeing the value in Wellness programs as a means to improved employee health and productivity. Many physicians are recommending healthy lifestyles to combat or prevent many of the diseases that have become common in our society.
We believe that trails can be a key component in a healthy lifestyle. Here are some healthy living programs that exist in the area and for which trails may play a beneficial role. Some programs are open to the public, some are not.

[edit] Wellness Fairs
Occasionally LCTA participates in local wellness fairs (at high schools, for example). We are always open to having a booth at more such events -- if you are hosting a wellness fair, get in touch with us.
One of the fun things we do at these wellness fairs is to give out a quiz with questions that can be answered from our trail map. Please add your quiz question ideas to our Trail Maps Quiz page.
